ARCHIBOND™ - UNSUPPORTED
Archibond™ is a conservation adhesive designed for laminating and thermal consolidation processes.
It comes in the form of a thin, transparent film (18 g/m²), free of solvents, plasticizers, or acidic components.
Its formulation based on Texicryl and Paraloid™ acrylic copolymers provides controlled, flexible, and reversible adhesion, compatible with a wide variety of substrates such as paper, fabric, or plant fibers.
Controlled thermal activation (70–80 °C for 15–25 seconds) allows for precise work using a hot spatula or heat press, ensuring uniform adhesion without affecting the original material.
In addition, it is reversible in alcohol, which facilitates its removal during future interventions, preserving the integrity of the treated work or document.
