Timecare™ PATRIMONY CARDBOARD - Museum Quality

Timecare™ Museum Quality – Cotton Core is a cardboard made from 100% cotton fibers, free of acid, lignin, sulfur, and optical brightening agents (OBA).
It has a pH of 7.5 to 9 and, depending on the color, may include an alkaline reserve with calcium carbonate or be without an alkaline reserve, ensuring compatibility with photographic works and sensitive materials.

Thanks to its plasticizer-free EVA polymer adhesive, internal AKD sizing, and non-ionic flour-based starch sizing surface, it offers high physical and chemical stability and excellent response to cutting and mounting.
It meets the requirements of ISO 9706 (Permanence), ISO 18916 (Photographic Activity Test – PAT), ASTM D2043 (Silver Tarnish Test), and Fine Art Trade Guild (museum grade) standards.

Suitable for manufacturing boxes, assembling exhibitions, framing, and storing delicate textiles such as silk or wool. It is a versatile, safe, and durable material, recommended for museum environments and preventive conservation.
