KLUCEL G

Klucel® G is a standard medium viscosity hydroxypropyl cellulose ether widely used in the conservation and restoration of paper, leather, and porous materials. It comes in the form of a white powder that is soluble in cold water, as well as in alcohols and hydroalcoholic mixtures, allowing it to be applied to moisture-sensitive substrates.

It forms transparent, flexible, and reversible films and is characterized by its stability, compatibility with other adhesives, and neutral behavior toward treated materials.
