SUPPORT PANEL

Support board is a lightweight, rigid material with high compressive strength, composed of a honeycomb core. It is ideal for framing, display, and the manufacture of models, boxes, or conservation structures. It is easy to cut with a knife or fine-toothed saw, making it suitable for conservation and display work as well as artistic and model-making applications.

Manufactured without wood fibers, they have a neutral synthetic structure, without alum additives or optical brighteners (OBA), and have a minimum alkaline reserve of 2% CaCO₃, ensuring high chemical durability.
They comply with ISO 9706 (Permanence) and ISO 18916 (Photographic Activity Test – PAT) standards, certifying their suitability for use in the conservation and archiving of sensitive materials.

Available in two structures—corrugated and hexagonal—they offer different configurations of rigidity and thickness depending on the type of project or application.
